Originally designed in the early 1960’s, the Ford Falcon was considered the everyday family car with very modest ideas and engine options. With alterations made nearly every year, by 1965 that had all changed. A more sophisticated and engaging Falcon was birthed and was drawing comparisons to its Mustang Cousin. As a lightweight and fast Ford, the biggest variance in the two cars was that Ford was producing only 1 Falcon for every 12 Mustangs when it came to those with drop tops. Now 54 years later it’s no wonder that finding a faultless 1965 Ford Falcon Convertible is incredibly difficult. This unspoiled Falcon is as clean as they come from top to bottom. Presenting a spectacular Springtime Yellow exterior synchronized with an offsetting black vinyl top and timeless black side trim, this car is parade prepared. When you add in the near perfect chrome window surrounds, bumpers, side trim edging, American Racing Wheels, and polished duel exhaust this car becomes extraordinary. The American racing Wheels are incased in 205/70/R14 front and 225/70/R14 rear BF Goodrich radial tires providing a bit more black contrast. As you peer over the lowered top you discover an impeccably well done and identical black vinyl interior. The front bench seat, wood grained dash and 3 spoke steering wheel, aftermarket under dash gauges and the original floor shifter connected to the automatic transmission, make this car shout luxury. Further eases include power steering and power front disk and rear drum brakes. Under the hood is a 93,246 miles – 302 Ford Performance Motor. It models polished Ford valve covers, an aluminum radiator, and headers adding to the appeal. So whether the aforementioned parades are your thing, or maybe you are looking for a Sunday cruiser, this uncommon Falcon is the car for you. This car in a pure condition was Infrequent in its own day, and is a genuine rarity in this day.
